Our Dedicated Team

Personal Attention and Commitment

Starting with your first appointment, all the way through case negotiations – and even trial if necessary – our office staff will be there to walk you through every step of the process. Greg Linehan has decades of experience practicing injury law. He decided to build his own firm in order to prioritize providing personalized service and attention to each and every client. At Greg Linehan Law, you will meet and work with the same attorney and legal assistant from your very first appointment. This means that all phone calls, emails, letters, or in-person meetings to keep you up to speed on the status of your case will be with a familiar face or voice. We strive to provide not only top-notch legal representation but also a sense of comfort and familiarity. You won’t show up to a deposition to find an attorney you’ve never seen or spoken to before.

Our firm makes every effort to treat each client as we would want to be treated were we in this same position. Throughout this stressful and unfamiliar process, we work hard to be helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable. It is important to us that we make this difficult process as easy as possible for each individual that walks through our doors. The following profiles are meant to help you get to know us so you can be more comfortable with our ability to address your legal needs.

OFFICE MANAGER

MEET REBECCA

Rebecca Curry was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. She attended college at Manatee Community College (now known as State College of Florida) and graduated summa cum laude with an associate degree in accounting and business management. After college, Rebecca spent several years working for a local bookkeeping company doing accounting, payroll, and billing work for various small companies in the Sarasota area. Fortunately, one of the companies that she did bookkeeping for was our law firm. When it came time to hire an office manager for Greg Linehan Law, she was the ideal candidate.

Rebecca handles all of the accounting, payroll, and billing for our firm. She works directly with the legal assistants on client medical bills and settlements. Rebecca is also a critical part of our trial team; handling all trial-related technology, demonstrative displays, expert video depositions, and PowerPoint presentations. Additionally, she is responsible for human resources, marketing, IT, and coordinating the firm’s online presence.

Rebecca and her husband, Jason, have been married for over 26 years. Together they have a daughter, Alexis, who lives and works in Jacksonville, FL, and a rescue pup named Cece. If they aren’t out traveling the world, you can typically find them at a concert or a local brewery enjoying being empty nesters.

Terry Curry

LEGAL ASSISTANT TO GREG LINEHAN

MEET TERRY

Terry Curry was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. She graduated from Booker High School. In 1986, Terry began her journey into the insurance claims field with a job as an adjuster at FCCI. There, she worked for 15 years, primarily as an adjuster for workers’ compensation claims. This eventually lead her to seek out a position as an assistant to a workers’ comp attorney. She found a position with a young attorney, Greg Linehan, at a local firm that primarily does work comp and personal injury litigation.

In 2003, when Mr. Linehan left that firm; Terry followed him and continued her career as Mr. Linehan’s legal assistant. She handles all of the firm’s workers’ compensation claims as well as the social security disability claims. In addition, she handles personal injury files from pre-suit to litigation for our clients. Daily, she handles personal injury and worker’s compensation claims from beginning to end including all client matters, handling client calls, and keeping track of Mr. Linehan’s calendar and appointments.

When Terry is not busy at work, she spends her time with her mom, her daughter (Heather), and her two granddaughters (Leanna and Serena). She is very active in her church and Girl Scouts.  She also enjoys taking her grandkids to Disney and to hear their favorite pop stars in concert.

LEGAL ASSISTANT TO GREG LINEHAN

MEET CHRISTY

Christy O’Connor was born in Miami, Florida, and raised here, in Sarasota. She graduated from Sarasota High School and attended Manatee Community College. In 1990, she began working in the insurance field, at an insurance company in downtown Sarasota. She transferred to a small insurance agency in St. Petersburg in 2001 and worked there for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her two small children.

Christy started as a receptionist but quickly learned the ins and outs of the personal injury world and became an indispensable part of our office. In 2013, when the time came for Mr. Linehan to hire a second legal assistant, Christy easily transitioned into that position. She handles personal injury files from pre-suit to litigation for our clients. Her days are typically spent handling client calls, requesting medical records, building client files, communicating with insurance companies, and writing demand letters.

Christy has been married to her husband, Chris, for over 27 years.  They have two children, Christopher and Amanda, both of whom graduated from Booker High School.  Christy enjoys spending her weekends on the boat fishing with Chris, visiting her daughter at UCF, or relaxing by the pool with a good book. At the end of every July, you can find the O’Connor family in the Keys gathering as many lobsters as they can.
